Plan ahead for the new school year by making sure your child receives the Tdap vaccine.
A new California school law requires all students entering grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 this school year to show proof of a pertussis (Tdap) vaccination to attend school. Students who do not show proof of a Tdap shot by the school’s deadline August 3rd will be excluded from school. For the following school year and in the future, the law will apply to students entering the 7th grade only.

Una nueva ley de admisión requiere que todos los estudiantes que entran a los grados 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, y 12 en el año escolar que viene, muestren prueba de vacuna contra la tos ferina antes de empezar la escuela. Para el siguiente año escolar y en el futuro, la ley va a aplicarse a los estudiantes que entran al 7mo grado solamente.
